Charles M. Christmas

Charles Merry Christmas, Sr., born February 20, 1927, became absent from the body and present with the Lord on March 10, 2024. Charles is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph & Auntie Christmas; 6 siblings: Jeremiah Christmas, Robert Christmas, Nell Lathrop, Martha Lunsford, Joe Christmas, & Wylline Williams; and his wife, Louise Anderson Christmas. Charles is survived by his two children, Joy Christmas Sanders (Joe) and Charles Merry Christmas, Jr. (Cindy); a daughter in love, Darlyn Burch (Bill); 5 grandsons: Michael Keith Christmas (Tammy), Joe Russell Sanders, Jr., Jeremy Joe Sanders (Amy), Gregory Alan (Beth), and Taylor James Christmas (Hannah); a large number of great grandchildren; and his special friend & sweetheart, Judy Wray.

The family will receive friends Saturday, March 23, 2024 from 1:00pm - 3:00pm at West End Baptist Church. Funeral Service will begin at 3:00pm. Graveside Services will be held Monday, March 25, 2024 at 10:00am located at Jefferson Memorial Gardens South in Hoover, AL.
