Holly C. (Mattes) Hughes, 62, of Middletown, Pennsylvania entered into eternal rest Thursday, March 7, 2024 at her home in Middletown.

Holly was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on January 1, 1962 to the late Clara Arlene Werner and William C. Mattes.

In addition to her parents, Holly is preceded in death by her loving husband, Curtis R. Hughes III, whom she married on August 7, 1993, her aunt, Winifred Werner and Uncle Charles Mattes.

Holly is survived by her loving children; Jonah C.R. (Janelle) Hughes of Newville, PA, Jordina (Ethan) Yoder of Gardners, PA., a brother, William (Dawn) Mattes of Harrisburg, PA., and Aunt & Best Friend in Lord, Sharen Beil of Middletown, PA.

Holly was a dedicated Christian by faith, and she loved her family and spending time with her children more than anything in life. Holly loved her job as a Lunchroom monitor for many years at Reid Elementary School.

A memorial service will be held for Holly at a later date with the family.
