Services for Lise Blount Lucas will be at 10AM, Thursday, March 14, 2024 at Eva Church of God, Monterey, LA with Bro. Toney Ganey and Bro. Tom Tiffee officiating. Visitation will be from 5PM until 9PM, Wednesday, March 13th and from 8AM until time of service at 10AM, Thursday, March 14th at the church. Interment will be at Lucas Family Cemetery, Jonesville, LA under the direction of Magnolia Funeral Home, Alexandria, LA.

Lise Blount Lucas, 63, of Monterey, passed away Monday, March 11, 2024. She was born December 21, 1960 to the union of Harry “Bozo” Blount and Vivian Calhoun Blount. She was a homemaker with a talent of writing songs and poems. She was a good wife and mother. She will be missed dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry “Bozo” Blount and Vivian Calhoun Blount; and niece, Lacy Huntsman.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Charlie Lucas; daughters, Summer Rials and husband Jeff, Lindsay Lucas and Hailee Lucas all of Monterey; brothers, Roy Blount and Joe Blount; sisters, Kathleen Huntsman of Dallas, TX, and Janet Ashenbrenner and husband Craig of Monterey; granddaughter, Marley Fulford and husband Carson; grandsons, Hunter McCarthy and T.J. Rials; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be John Lucas, Steven McNeely, Chris Lucas, Jeff Rials, David Lucas and Matt Ashenbrenner. Honorary pallbearers will be Carson Fulford, Hunter McCarthy, Larry Trahan, Dillon Butts, Christoher Morgan and Jason Butts.
