Toby Dale Rutberg (née Bogert), died peacefully at Vassar Brothers Medical center on Tuesday March 12, 2024 at the age of 70.

Toby is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Marty Rutberg; her children, Marlee and Joshua Rutberg; her cousin; niece; and many close friends.

She was born and raised in Pine Bush, NJ. She lived with her immediate family in the Hudson Valley for the past 41 years. She worked as an occupational therapist specializing in the treatment of neurodivergent children, consulting with many of the local school districts and childcare centers throughout the area. After retiring, she took up quilting and beading, creating many spectacular pieces which will be cherished by those who survive her for years to come.

She was laid to rest surrounded by family and friends on Wednesday, March 13, 2024. Donations may be made in her honor to the cancer center at White Plains Hospital for use as directed by Dr. Karen Green.
