Réal Omer Joseph Gauthier

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Réal Gauthier at the Cornwall Community Hospital on March 10, 2024 after a courageous battle with cancer. Réal leaves to mourn his loving wife Elizabeth, his dear children Jo Ann Selvey of Smiths Falls, Gary (Karen) Gauthier of Alexandria, Bob (Linda) Gauthier of Glen Roy, Christine Gauthier of Alexandria and his step-daughter Katherine (Peter) Ganz of Wolfe Island. Réal will be dearly missed by grandchildren Tristan, Kurt, Stephen, Kyle, Melanie, Braden, Dylan, Kacy, Andrea, Kaitlan, Liam and Rylee, as well as thirteen great-grandchildren. He will also be missed by his siblings Roger (Monique Miron) , Conrad (Sheila) , Sylvio (Cécile Poirier), Jean Guy (Cécile Desnoyer) , sister Sr Alberte, Florent (Ginette Parent) and Richard (Lynn Giroux). Réal was predeceased by his parents Albert and Helene (nee Lalande) Gauthier and his brother Yvon. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of the Munro and Morris Funeral Homes, 114 Main St. S, Alexandria, (613)525-2772. In keeping with Réal's wishes, cremation has taken place and the family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday March 17th, 2024 from 2:00pm - 4:00pm and 7:00pm - 9:00pm.
