<p>Sandra “Sandie” Louisa (Sandrin) McDonell. Loving Mother, Aunty, Grandma, Bisa Nona, Sister, and friend to all. </p><p><br></p><p>November 4, 1941 to March 5, 2024</p><p><br></p><p>Sandie passed away peacefully on March 5th, 2024 surrounded by her family.</p><p><br></p><p>Sandie was a successful, independent woman who enjoyed her retirement continuing education in various art forms; appreciating the performing arts, museums, music in many varieties, as well as socializing. Sandie's hobbies included reading, cooking, gardening and the outdoors. She enjoyed traveling, especially to Europe and took many trips to New York with her grandchildren. </p><p><br></p><p>Sandie always said her greatest accomplishment was her family. Her children, their spouses, and her grandchildren collectively looked after her lovingly during her last few years.</p><p><br></p><p>We will forever cherish the memory of our Mom, Aunty, Grandma, Bisa Nona, and Sister. She was our leader, confidante, cheerleader, teacher and role model. Daughter Kathryn (Jeff,) son Bill (Shaneena,) grandchildren John (Parneeta,) Anthony, Isabella, Mateo, and great grandson Theodore, nephews David, Doug, Dale, Alesandro, Ryan and brother Leonard. </p><p><br></p><p>An intimate celebration of life was held with family. </p>

Sandie passed away peacefully on March 5th, 2024 surrounded by her family.
