Mr. Bobby Lee Justice, age 88, of the River Mountain section of Lebanon, Virginia passed away Sunday (March 10, 2024) at his home. Born June 29, 1935 in Russell County, Virginia, he was a son of the late William Aaron and Letha Dora Yates Justice. A lifelong resident of the area, he was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Belfast, Virginia. He had formerly been employed as a carpenter, farmer, and a bus driver for Russell County School System. He was a talented wood-craftsman and made beautiful furniture. He found joy in farmwork, especially working and riding his horses. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and enjoyed spending time with his family, who he loved dearly.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Katrina Gail Justice Cartmell, and one brother, Billy Justice.

Survivors include his loving wife of nearly sixty-eight years, Frances Barrett Justice of the home; his children, Michael Justice and wife, Brenda, and Connie Stevens and husband, Ronnie all of River Mountain; his son-in-law, Keith Cartmell; two grandchildren, Marlena Justice and Kevin Justice and wife, Melissa; great-granddaughter, Jada Justice.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Wednesday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker, Virginia with Rev. Rick Blevins officiating. Interment will follow in Russell Memorial Cemetery at Lebanon, Virginia.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Justice, Jeff Justice, Lynn Justice, Alvin Yates, Jerry Justice, Gerald Justice, Mike Lester, Larry Justice, and Randy Howard.

Honorary pallbearers will be Gerald Perkins and Jay Howard.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 12 – 1 PM at the Honaker Funeral Home.
