<p>Niagara- Franklin J. Lanthier, 87, of Niagara, Wisc., passed away Saturday, March 9, 2024, at Aurora Bay Medical Center, Green Bay, Wisc.</p><p><br></p><p>He was born November 4, 1936, in Iron Mountain, Mich., son of the late Urban and Lucille (Verrette) Lanthier. Frank proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War.</p><p><br></p><p>He enjoyed hunting, fishing, tinkering, carpentry work, spending time with friends and family, playing cards, and socializing and cooking at his camp.</p><p><br></p><p>Survivors include three sons, Mark (Tammie) Lanthier, Niagara, Wisc., Michael Lanthier, Quinnesec, Mich., and Donald (Julie) Lanthier, Kingsford, Mich.; three daughters, Marguerite Lanthier, Niagara, Wisc., Carol (Dale) Warren, and Nancy (Chuck) Pellegrini, Norway, Mich.; one brother, Joe Lanthier, Port Washington, Wisc.; nine grandchildren, Jon, Beth, Simone, Joe, Brian, Justin, Alex, Matt and Vanessa; and by five great-grandchildren.</p><p><br></p><p>In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by one son, Tommy Lanthier; sister and brother-in-law, Flora Mae (Don) Howley; and sister-in-law, LaVaugh Lanthier.</p><p><br></p><p>Visitation will be on Saturday, March 16, 2024, from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home-Niagara Chapel, Niagara, Wisc. A Memorial Service will follow at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Rev. Fr. Felix Albano will officiate.
