John "Jack" Felondis

<p>It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of John “Jack” Felondis, 84, of North Scranton on Sunday, March 10, 2024. He departed this world surrounded by the love of his family. It was in this position as a salesman that he honed his communication skills and his gift of gab. Once retired, Jack did what he loved most, he took his career to the Lackawanna County Stadium Ice Rink where he became the Rink’s Skate Guard. This position was not strange at all for him. He was first to rise when at his son’s home in Wellsboro for the annual “Bear Camp.” He and his fellow bear hunters woke early ready to conquer the day. His love of the outdoors coupled with his passion to help others made him the person we cherished.
