Katharina Manners, née Würth, was born on 7 April 1936 in Darmstadt, Germany. She was the second-born of 4 children. Her older brother Willi unfortunately died at an early age. But she still spent a wonderful childhood with her two younger sisters Anni and Erika.

In 1956, she successfully completed an apprenticeship as a commercial clerk.

She then met her future husband Roy Manners in Darmstadt.

In 1965 she left Germany and married Roy in America. Sadly, her husband Roy passed away after a few happy years together. After his death, She decided to stay in America and began to build a new life here on her own.

Every 2 years she visited her family in Darmstadt, Germany. And her sister Erika, her niece Corinna and her nephew Michael visited her in America.

An after 40 years in America, she became an American citizen.

Over the past few years, her two sisters have been in touch with her every day by telephone.

She passed away peacefully on Sunday 10 March 2024. We will always remember her friendly, loving and honest nature.
