Susan J. Gardner, 67, of East Syracuse, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2024 at her home.

     Born in Syracuse on September 29, 1956, she was the daughter of Robert and Mary King and the spouse of Robert Gardner. She was a graduate of Central Square High School.

     She enjoyed shopping and traveling, especially to Clearwater. You could always find her on the porch drinking her coffee. Susan was a devoted mother and grandmother.

     She was predeceased by Robert King.

     She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Robert Gardner; children, Robert (Christine) Gardner, Amy (Benjamin) River and Travis Gardner; grandchildren, Joseph, Emma, Ryan and Leah; step-grandchildren, Jonathan and Alyssa; mother, Mary King; 4 siblings; and several nieces and nephews.

     Calling hours will be Friday, March 15, from 4 to 6pm at the R.H. Schepp & Son Minoa Chapel, 6530 Schepps Corners Road, Minoa.  A service will follow at 6pm at the funeral home.

     The Gardner family would like to give a special thanks to their family and friends, including her brother, David, and Hospice for their care and support throughout the past few months.
