Janet Pomponio (nee Polley), age 92, of Pompton Plains, NJ, passed away peacefully on March 9. Born in Leominster, Massachusetts, July 13, 1931, she lived in Wood-Ridge, NJ, for 75 years, before moving to Cedar Crest in 2006. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Albert, her brother, Richard Polley, and sister, Jane Roemer. She is survived by her son, Donald Pomponio, and his wife, Susan, of Wood-Ridge, and her daughters, Lynn Rocha, and husband, Ray, of Palmetto Bay, Florida, Barbara Henderson, and husband, William, of Wallingford, PA, and Judith Morreale, and husband, Vincent, of Morris Township, NJ. She has 9 grandchildren, Steven and Jessica Pomponio, Kenneth Gelok and wife, Jill, Alexandra and Nicholas Rocha, Lauren Morreale, Kristen Garcia, and husband, Santiago, Christopher Henderson, and husband, Andy, and Michael Henderson and wife, Brenna. She has one great grandson, Matteo Garcia.

Services will be private. Interment will be at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus, NJ.
