Hampden and Springfield – Ashley D. Kneeland, 36, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2024 at a Bangor hospital, surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 10, 1987 in Lincoln, the daughter of Marshall G. and Vanessa (Stevens) Worster.

Ashley grew up in Springfield and was a graduate of Lee Academy, class of 2005, and University of Maine Augusta and Beal College, earning an associate degree in business management. She was office manager and H/R Director for MVRA for 13 years. She also owned and operated Kneelands Krafty Kreations, which allowed her to exercise her creativity and independence. A loyal wife and dedicated mother of five, Ashley led a busy and well-rounded life, successfully balancing her career, family, and love of following sporting events, especially the New England Patriots.

In addition to her mother, Vanessa Williams and her husband Rich (‘Papa’), Ashley is survived by her husband of 8 years, Brian Kneeland; five children, Autumn, Rikki, Thomas, Desiray, and Camryn; two stepchildren, Zach and Becca Lizotte; two brothers, Joseph Worster and Adam Worster; a special sister, Angela Wilcox; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her father, grandparents Roberta and Arnold Worster, John Murray, and Dolores and Wayne Stevens.

Friends are invited to visit with the family 3-5 PM Tuesday, March 12 at the Lamson Funeral Home, Clay Chapel, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln, where funeral services will be held at 5 PM with the Rev. Scott Benner, officiating. Interment will be in the springtime at the Cole Cemetery, Springfield.
