<p>It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Errol Brent Joe on March 7, 2024. He passed away peacefully after a brief illness. Errol was born in Vancouver, BC on April 6, 1946, to Sam and Mary Joe. He was the youngest of 3 children: his sister, Donna and his brother, Garry. </p><p><br></p><p>He will be terribly missed by his family and many friends. Errol was a kind-hearted, funny, and charismatic man. He was a wonderful brother and uncle, a loving father, and even more so, a devoted Goong Goong to his two beautiful grandchildren.</p><p><br></p><p>He was an avid golfer, a fun-loving friend, the life of any party, and truly a joy to be around.</p><p><br></p><p>Errol is survived by his two children Danelle (Fred Setterington) and Ryan and his two precious grandchildren, Hope and Nate. </p><p><br></p><p>The family would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses, and staff from Surrey Memorial Hospital. Along with the palliative care team at Laurel Place Care Centre. We would also like to thank Burquitlam Funeral Home, for the care and guidance where arrangements for Errol have been made. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Errol’s memory to the Surrey Memorial Hospital Foundation, Laurel Place Care Centre (Hospice), or an organization of your choice. </p><p><br></p><p>This has been such a tremendous loss for our family, but we take comfort in knowing that he has been reunited and is now dancing with his beautiful wife, Lita. A celebration of life will take place at a later date. </p><p><br></p>

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Errol Brent Joe on March 7, 2024. He passed away peacefully after a brief illness. Errol was born in Vancouver, BC on April 6, 1946, to Sam and Mary Joe. He was the youngest of 3 children: his sister, Donna and his brother, Garry.
