<p>Family and friends, we are deeply saddened to announce that our beloved, Lydia Forand, passed away Thursday afternoon at Rockville General Hospital, leaving behind many memories with those she loved. Lydia was preceded in death by her mother Elizabeth Forand, father Henry Forand, sister Beth Kearse, and best friend, Sherri Lawrence. She leaves behind her children Kyleigh and Isaiah Johnson, her sisters, Cheryl Wood and Lori Forand and her brothers, Robert Calsetta and Jeffrey McCready as well as, several nieces and nephews. Lydia also leaves behind her beloved dogs, Stitch, Lilo, and Angel. </p><p><br></p><p>Lydia worked at Travelers Insurance for the past 17 years and had a career in insurance for over 30 years. One of the things that Lydia loved doing was going on cruises with friends and family. She went on numerous cruises to many different places. Some of us were fortunate to go on several cruises with her and experience those special moments.</p><p><br></p><p>There will be a Memorial Service at Burke-Fortin Funeral Home on Friday, March 15th from 4 to 7 PM. In lieu of flowers please donate to Our Companions Animal Rescue and Sanctuary (ourcompanions.org)</p>
