Larry D. Sea, 83, of Hedrick died at 7:59 a.m. March 9, 2024 at Hospice House in Ottumwa.

He was born November 6, 1940 in Ottumwa to Robert and Wynema Abrams Sea. He married Carol Martin on September 1, 1962.

Larry had worked as a farmer and as a construction worker. He loved his pets, watching wildlife and enjoyed tinkering with pocket watches.

Surviving is his wife, Carol of Hedrick; two sons, Steven (Sara) Sea of Iowa City and Marty (Lisa) Sea of Independence; two grandsons, Walker and Carter Sea.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Robert Sea; and two sisters, Carol Ann Sea and Phyllis Sea.

His body has been cremated and no services are planned at this time.

Memorials may be made to Hospice serving Davis and Wapello Counties.
