Obituary

SINCLAIR, Gary

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden, peaceful passing of Gary Sinclair at home on March 6, 2024 at the age of 69.

He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Judy Sinclair-Annis and will be lovingly remembered by his children John (Elyse), Michael (Aiste), Andrea (Sean), Michael (Kelly); his cherished grandchildren Graydon, Violet, Bram, Makinley, and Hanna; his sisters Anne (Adrian) and Barb (late, Dave); as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and his many friends.

Gary was a mechanic at Air Canada for 28 years and then was elected to General Chairperson for District 104 of the IAMAW Union until he retired. He was also a regular tax volunteer with the Salvation Army. Gary loved gardening at home and caring for his sheltie, Lacey. He was loved and well respected by many for his kindness, his sense of humour, and as a mentor, and he was most proud of his children and grandchildren.

Special thanks for all the support from family, friends, Dr. Hanna, and the Niagara Regional Police Service and EMS.

Visitation will be held at P.X. Dermody Funeral Home, 796 Upper Gage Ave., Hamilton (between Mohawk and Fennell) on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM.
