Gary Wayne Rodgers, of Vevay, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 7, 2024 with his best friend and life partner, Tammy Phelps, at his side. Gary was born on July 12, 1955 in Carbondale, Illinois and graduated from Marion High School, class of 1973. Gary is survived by daughters Susan Joy Harbison (Justin) and Amanda Lynn Naas (Dwayne), and their mother, Cindy (Snoddy) Burroughs.

Gary was a generous man who loved his family and friends fiercely. He was passionate about music, especially the Grateful Dead and playing bluegrass instruments. He loved going to concerts and major league baseball games with friends (go Cards!) as well as playing computer games and video poker. In recent years of retirement from his job as table games manager in the casino industry, Gary enjoyed drinking IPA beers and playing pinball while visiting his kids in Madison, WI.

Gary was preceded in death by his father, Donald Rodgers, mother Laura Louise (Willard) Rodgers, and his many beloved 4-legged friends.
