<p>Mrs. Hula Jean (Morrison) Bailey of Newark, Arkansas, departed this life on March 8, 2024, at the age of 81. She was born August 21, 1942 in Newark, the daughter of Hugh Millard and Callie Margaret (Young) Morrison. </p><p> Mrs. Bailey was a graduate of Newark High School. She retired from White Rogers in Batesville after 45 years and seven months of service. Her hobbies included scrapbooking, collecting dolls, and listening to polka music. She enjoyed working word search puzzles, coloring in adult coloring books, and working in her yard. Her family was her pride and joy and she loved spending time with her grand nephews and niece.</p><p> She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Bailey; and her parents.</p><p> Mrs. Bailey is survived by two stepdaughters, Kathy Bradbury and Beverly Guajardo; one sister, Norma Stafford; three grandchildren, Billy Bradbury, Tosha Hirby, and Tyler Bradbury; four great-grandchildren, Grayson, Madelyn, Payton, and Makila; two nephews, Anthony Stafford and Steven Stafford; great niece, Maya Stafford; and two great nephews, Carlo Stafford and Logan Stafford; and a lifetime of friends.</p><p> Friends may visit at the Newark First Baptist Church, Tuesday 1:00 p.m. until service. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m., with Brother Bill Goodwin officiating. Interment will follow in Macedonia Cemetery.</p><p> Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Bob Morrison, Shannon Morrison, Gary Morrison, Randy Morrison, Kendall Morrison, and Justin Morrison.
