Gary Louis Kincade was born July 29, 1949 in Oklahoma City and passed away on March 6, 2024 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Gary was the only child of William (Bill) Lewis and Ina Lucille (Lucile) Kincade.

He graduated from Capitol Hill High School in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, in May, 1967, and from Central State University in Edmond, Oklahoma with a B.S. in mathematics in July, 1971. He took an additional thirty hours of post-graduate courses in accounting at Oklahoma City University.

After a few years in the private sector, he went to work for the Internal Revenue Service in 1982 as an auditor and then moved in the Criminal Investigation Division (CID) of the IRS. He served in the Oklahoma City Field Office until 2002, when he received a promotion to Special Agent in Charge (SAC) of the Madison, Wisconsin IRS field office.

In 2004, he returned to the Oklahoma City IRS Field Office and retired in 2006.

He served the Lake Ridge Homeowners’ Association for years as Vice President and Treasurer. He was a member of Southern Hills United Methodist Church.

Gary’s favorite hobby was gardening, and he loved growing vegetables to share with friends, family, and neighbors. He also enjoyed watching documentaries, old movies, and sports.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Carol, two children, Kimberly and David and three grandchildren.
