<p>Robert “Bob” Alley, passed away peacefully on March 7th, 2024, at the age of 88 years old. Born on December 16th, 1935, in New York, New York. Robert resided in Commack, NY for over sixty years with his family and grew up in Kings Park, NY. </p><p><br></p><p>Bob lived a life of service to his family, his country, and his community. Bob honorably served his nation in the United Sates Airforce for four years before embarking on an outstanding career as a locomotive engineer for the Long Island Railroad. </p><p><br></p><p>He was happily married for 60 years to his late wife, Barbara. Bob is survived by his sister, Ann Tekverk, along with his loving children, Robert Jr., Nancy, Sean (Frankie), and Beth Ann. He was a proud grandfather of Kaitlyn, Justin, Patrick, and Tom. </p><p><br></p><p>Robert was an active member of the Knights of Columbus and the American Legion, serving as Grand Knight from 1999-2001. He was an influential member of his church (Christ the King), serving as an usher for many years. Bob always enjoyed playing golf and would volunteer at many golf outing fundraisers. His happiest times were spent at Fort Wilderness Campground in Disney World. Nothing made Bob happier than taking his family, whether it be his children or his grandchildren, on a trip to Disney in his RV.</p><p><br></p><p>May the memories of Robert J.
