Roberta Burns Eagle Obituary

Roberta (Bertie) Burns Eagle

January 25, 1934 - March 5, 2024

It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bertie Eagle on Tuesday, March 5, 2024. Predeceased by her husband Ralph in 2011, she leaves behind, after a battle with Alzheimers, her loving family. Daughter Sharon (Paul Clemens), grandchildren Kelly, Karie (Andy Campbell) and Kyle (Charlene Tisseur). Great grandchildren, Liam, Cody, Collin, Shyheim and Harmony. Son Tony (Ellen), grandchildren Sean (Alicia) and Ashley (Dave Mouland). Great granchildren Dalton, Tate, Gage, Colton and Cali.

She had a great life, always on the go, usually with our Dad by her side. They both loved tennis, golf, long walks and going to Florida for a couple of months (until they got homesick). They both had great friends and great times together. These friends were by her side during her sad times when Dad passed, she was blessed to have them.

Private burial has taken place. A Celebration of Life Lunch for friends and family will be held at Lounsbury Funeral Home, 1766 Franklin Blvd., Cambridge on Monday, March 18th at 12pm. Parking is available at Hespeler Baptist Church across the street from the funeral home.

We would like to thank the PSWs at Winston Park Kitchener - Emma's Neighbourhood and the nurses at Grand River Hospital. Donations in lieu of flowers to the Alzheimer Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
