<p>JANSSEN, Marie Therese (Ria)</p><p>Passed away peacefully at Woodingford Lodge, Woodstock on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 in her 97th year.</p><p>Beloved wife of the late Gerard Janssen (2002); loving mother of Betty (Rick).</p><p>Cherished grandmother of Melanie Sully, Grant Cleary and Rhiannon Cleary, Great-grandmother of Emilia Sully, Wyatt Sully, Jaelynn Cleary and Adalyn Lucas.</p><p>Predeceased by her son, Peter (2023), her parents Gerard and Josephina Janssen, Brothers Jan, Jef, Pierre, Lou, Theo, Giel and Sisters Gertie and Elly.</p><p>Ria cherished her family, friends and music having been involved for many years in the adult choir at St. Mary’s of the Visitation and the Senior’s Choir in Galt.</p><p>A Private family funeral service was held for Ria at Lounsbury Funeral Home, Cambridge with interment following at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Cambridge.</p><p>In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Ria may be made to Alzheimer Society of Canada.</p>Obituary
