<p>Dorothy (Wolstencroft) Senior, 98, of Spring St., Westerly, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Harold “Ike” Senior.</p><p><br></p><p>Born in Kearsley, England, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Eva (Welsby) Wolstencroft.</p><p><br></p><p>Dorothy was the familiar and dependable voice on the phone at Central Baptist Church where she worked in the office for years. She was a longtime member of T.O.P.S. and an avid Red Sox and Celtics fan. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and coloring intricate portraits in coloring books. She was a passionate and regular viewer of the Wheel of Fortune and she also enjoyed playing cards, especially Rummy 500. Dorothy loved music of all types.</p><p><br></p><p>She leaves behind her four children, Jon E. Senior and wife Doris, Amy E. O’Brien and husband Michael, Janis E. Wright and Allison Bauer; seven grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.</p><p><br></p><p>Visiting hours will be held on Monday from 5-7pm at Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly. All are also welcome to attend the Graveside Funeral Service at 11am on Tuesday at First Hopkinton Cemetery, Chase Hill Road, Ashaway.
