Agnes M. Gianfrancesco
<p>Agnes M. (Jensen) Gianfrancesco, 76 of Seymour, beloved wife of Frank Gianfrancesco, entered into peaceful rest on Thursday, March 7, 2024. She was a longtime resident of Port Chester, NY and Norwalk, CT. Agnes was born October 17, 1947 in Mount Kisco, NY, daughter of Albert and Antoinette (Morabito) Jensen. She worked as a Case Coordinator for Oxford Health Plan prior to her retirement.</p><p><br></p><p>Agnes was a very loving, vivacious, generous person, whose smile and laugh lit up any room she entered. In retirement, she enjoyed quiet days filled with tag sales, lunches out, reading, solving crossword puzzles, and spending time with her husband at home. She loved her trips to the casinos and traveling to Florida.</p><p><br></p><p>In addition to her husband Frank, Agnes leaves her loving family, including her sons, James Buckley of South Salem, New York, and Michael (Mala) Buckley of Orlando, FL; her daughter, Kelly (James) Owens of Seymour; grandchildren, Brent, Kyle, Thomas, and Matthew Buckley, and Caitlin and Patrick Owens. She also leaves nephews of her heart, Thomas (Allison) Kavanaugh, Scott (Alana) Kavanaugh; and their children Michael, Matthew, Kayla, James, Phoebe, and Connor Kavanaugh. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by grandson, Christopher Buckley.</p><p><br></p><p>The family extends their gratitude to the staff at Autumn Lake Healthcare at The Willows and VITAS Healthcare for the loving comfort and care they provided Agnes in her final months.</p><p><br></p><p>There are no calling hours; services will be private. Interment will be at St. Mary Cemetery, Rye, NY. Her arrangements are entrusted to the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour.
