MacDonald, Dorothy (nee McIver)

November 19, 1938 – March 6, 2024

It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother Dorothy on Wednesday March 6, 2024 in her 86th year surrounded by her family. Cherished mother of Randy (Jennifer) and Teri (Roland Kiehne).

Beloved wife of the late Martin Douglas MacDonald. Sister of Kenneth McIver (Jocelyn). Survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Dorothy was a kind, warm, generous and loving person. She was a social butterfly, always making friends wherever she went.

She will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Family and friends are welcome to gather at the McKersie & Early Funeral Home, 114 Main Street East, Milton, Ontario, L9T 1N5 

(905) 878-4452 on Monday, March 11, 2024 from 10am to 12pm, followed by a Chapel Service at 12pm. 

All are welcome to join the family for a light lunch upstairs in the Funeral Home Lounge.

If desired, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations in honour of Dorothy can be made to the Oakville and Milton Humane Society, Milton District Hospital or the Heart and Stroke Foundation, which would be appreciated by the family.
