HALIFAX - Jeremy Paul Shomper, age 40, of Enders, PA passed away March 4, 2024, at home.

He was born on August 21, 1983 in Harrisburg, PA the son of Theodore Shomper and Michele (Prouse) Shomper.

Jeremy was the fiance of Desha Fawber, whom he shared his life with for 18 years. Together they raised three amazing children, Kylah Bordner, Andrew Straub and Estyn Shomper who Jeremy could not have been more proud of. Jeremy is also leaving behind his grandson Cooper Miller who he adored and his two sisters April (Prouse) Ploutz and Megan (Shomper) Prowell. 

Jeremy was the hardest working man you could ever meet. Jack of All trades, Mater of ALL! From building houses to cars, to snowmen and sandcastles he always put pride in his work and did the best job he was capable of.

Jeremy enjoyed taking his family camping, visiting his home in Chincoteague, and spending time with his children and his best friend, his dog, Ryker.

Jeremy was someone who always put others first and would drop whatever he was doing to help someone else in need. You could call him with a question and if he didn't know the answer he would find it. If it didn't work, he would fix it. If it didn't exist, he would create it. He could turn one man's trash into another man's treasure and come up with solutions others would never believe were possible. Jeremy was strong. He showed physical strength beyond belief.

The family will receive friends on Monday, 11th of March, 2024 at Zion Stone U.M. Church, Million Dollar Road, Halifax from 10:30 AM-11:30 AM. A Memorial Service will begin at 11:30 AM. Jeremy will have a private burial at Fairview Cemetery, Enders.
