<p>Winooski - Judy Yates Allard, 69, a longtime resident of Winooski passed unexpectedly at her home on Tuesday, March 5th 2024.</p><p><br></p><p>Judy was born January 2, 1955, the daughter of Reginald and Claire Yates. She was a graduate of Winooski High school class of 1972. </p><p><br></p><p>Judy was employed by Northwestern Correctional Facility until 2000.</p><p><br></p><p>Judy was a craft enthusiast with the ability to craft anything, making many handmade gifts for her loved ones. She had a passion for on-line games which allowed her to forge friendships throughout the country. She leaves behind her daughter Tanya and her husband Chris Nicolay; her grandchildren Kennedy and Everett; her sister Kelley Jewell and her husband Randy; her brother Jim Yates and his wife Edna; her nieces and nephew Heather, Ashley, Brittany and Jason; her step-daughters Melissa and Beth; her step-grandchildren Drew, Kalia, Meah, Shane, Hollyann, and Lane; her close family friend Mike Allard. She also leaves behind her beloved pup, Patches.</p><p><br></p><p>Per Judy’s request there will not be any visiting hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday March 20th, 1:30 p.m. at St Francis Xavier Catholic Church on St. Peter St. in Winooski. Interment will follow at later time at St. Francis Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to a charity of your choice. Arrangements are under the care of A &amp; W Rich Funeral Home and Direct Cremation Service. The family also invites you to share your memories and condolences by visiting www.awrfh.com.</p>
