<p>June 12, 1954 - February 28, 2024</p><p><br></p><p>David A Gardiner, 69, of Palmyra, PA passed peacefully away on February 28, 2024 in the care of Spring Creek Rehab in Harrisburg, PA with his daughter Tabetha by his side after several years of declining health.</p><p><br></p><p>Born in Providence, RI, David was the son of the late Rensselaer “Rene” and Verna R (Cahoone) Gardiner. His pride and joy were the birth of his two children, Tabetha (Gardiner) Wotton and Timothy Gardiner and his grandson, Damian Gardiner.</p><p><br></p><p>David was always a huge music enthusiast since childhood. His fascination with the world of radio led him to a career in Broadcasting with several local RI and PA - AM radio stations, using the name of David Allen. He worked at WVCH 740 AM in Chester PA for over 20 plus years and WADK in Newport RI.</p><p><br></p><p>He moved to Pennsylvania for a new beginning over 20 years ago and his journey in life with this decision led to his successful career with several broadcasting radio stations. </p><p><br></p><p>David is survived by his two children, Tabetha (Gardiner) Wotten (husband Christopher) and Timothy Gardiner (wife Ashley), his grandson Damian Gardiner, Evelynn Gardiner, his former wife and mother of his two children and stepson Stephen Espinola, and Kathy (Mossup) Evans, his former fiancé and devoted companion of 20 years, as well as many cousins. Besides his parents, Rensselaer “Rene” and Verna R (Cahoone) Gardiner, he was preceded in death by his infant sister Cynthia Joyce Gardiner, his maternal grandparents Orrin A and Gladys Rosalind (Geer) Cahoone, step-grandmother Doris (Powell) Cahoone, paternal grandparents Raymond P and Dora M (Clarke) Gardiner.</p><p><br></p><p>David will be laid to rest in the Cahoone Family Plot next to his mother and grandparents. A Graveside Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, (March 16, 2024 at 11 AM at Woodland Annex Cemetery, Battey Ave, Coventry, RI. (Known as Knotty Oak Cemetery) with Interim Pastor Paul Hanson, from First Baptist Church in West Warwick, officiating.</p><p><br></p><p>Funeral Arrangements by Wiedeman Funeral and Cremation Services, 357 S Harrisburg Street, Oberlin, Pennsylvania</p>
