Gary Edward Skiles
<p>Gary Edward Skiles, age 66, of Freesoil, MI passed away on Wednesday March 6, 2024, at Munson Health Care – Manistee Hospital.</p><p><br></p><p>He was born on July 20, 1957, in Detroit, MI, the son of the late John E. and Elizabeth (Sidebottom) Skiles. He attended Lake Shore High School in St. Clair Shores, graduating with the class of 1975.</p><p><br></p><p>Gary worked as a Technician at AT&T for 29 years before retiring in July of 2017. He was a member of CWA Local 4008 in Mt. Clemons and the CWA Local 4108 in Manistee. He enjoyed model train and auto restoration and hunting.</p><p><br></p><p>Gary is survived by his son Nathan; daughter, Miranda; granddaughter, Zoey; brothers Michael (Debbie) and Mark; sisters, Cindy, Debbie (Tom), and Judy (Hank); stepson, Barry (Jamie); and many nieces and nephews.</p><p><br></p><p>Cremation has taken place, and no service is planned at this time. The family has entrusted funeral arrangements with Oak Grove Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Manistee.</p><p><br></p>Obituary
