Katherine “Kitty” (Piwoski) McTeague, 92, wife to the late Raymond McTeague, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. Kitty was born on November 28, 1931 in Hartford to the late Joseph and Anna (Shepleska) Piwoski. Kitty’s life was built around her family. The most important part of her life was holidays, birthdays, celebrations or any reason to get together with family. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren always provided her with something to do and somewhere to be.

Kitty leaves behind her children, Raymond W. McTeague, Jr. and his wife Deborah of Vero Beach, FL, Michael J. McTeague and his wife Karen of Granby, Suzanne Howey and her husband Gary of East Hartford, Kathleen Quattropani of Norwich and Patricia Kosis and her husband Marty of Manchester. She will also be missed by her twelve grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, who were the sparkle in her eyes. She was predeceased by her siblings, Joseph, John, Stanley, Peter, Mary, Pauline, Helen and Anna.

Friends and family may gather on Saturday, March 9, 2024 from 9:30AM to 11:00AM at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 50 Naubuc Avenue Glastonbury. Burial to Follow in Silver Lane Cemetery, 1280 Silver Lane, East Hartford.
