Hilary "Luke" Warrington Obituary

Hilary “Luke” Warrington, age 89, passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2024. He was born on April 19, 1934 to the late Levi and Mary Warrington.

Luke was a member of the Menominee Indian Tribe and he also proudly served his country as a member of the US Navy. He had a passion for chainsaw wood carving, dancing, and country music. Many of his most cherished memories were spent during his many vacation travels, but spending time with his large extended family brought him the most joy.

Luke is survived by his wife of 20 years, Annette; his brother, Cornelius “Neal” Warrington; nieces and nephews: Donna (Wes) Kotaska, Dawn (Robert) Tashiro, William “Billy” Mattern, and Lori Morgan. He is further survived by his step children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and many extended family members and friends.

In addition to his parents, Luke was preceded in death by his siblings: Charlene Mattern, Valerie D’ana, Donald Warrington, Norman Warrington, Casimer Warrington, Carol Warrington, and Jacqueline Warrington.

Visitation for Luke will be held on Sunday, March 10, 2024 at Valley Funeral Home, 2211 N. Richmond St., Appleton, from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. with a service at 7. Visitation will continue on Monday, March 11, 2024 at St. Patrick’s Parish, N3686 WI-76, Hortonville, starting at 9 a.m. until the Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. with full military honors. Luke will be laid to rest in Highland Memorial Park.
