Travis R. Boivin Obituary

Canton- Travis R. Boivin, 44, a resident of Leeds, passed away tragically, Monday, March 4th as a result of a motorcycle accident in Canton, after being struck by a vehicle. He was born August 28, 1979, in Waterville to Roger Boivin and Karen (Meader) Fish. He attended Leavitt Area High School in Turner. He worked as an automobile mechanic and most recently at Gridiron Restaurant as a dishwasher. Travis had a love for food. He enjoyed making dishes and smoking meats which most always was to share with family and friends. His love for the outdoors included riding motorcycles and when spending time at his camper you could most always find him drinking a cup of coffee and watching the deer which later would be a story to be told about how big or small the deer were. Travis was recently 14 months sober and for all who knew his journey this was a great achievement, one that he was proud of. Changing his life for himself and his children was his top priority. He is survived by his mother Karen Fish and stepfather Stan Fish of Leeds, his children, Talan and Tempeste Boivin of Wales along with their mother Mary Beth Veno, MaKenzie Swett of Sabattus, his sister Michelle Arsenault and husband Shane of Leeds, niece and nephew Logan and Landen Arsenault, several aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends, along with honorary brother Douglass Kinchen. He was predeceased by his father Roger Bovin. Messages of condolence may be sent to: www.finleyfuneralhome.com
