Dean David VanOrnum
<p>Dean D. VanOrnum, (AKA: Poop, Grumpa, Old-guy, Pop, Popa-lapa-dopa-lass) born on November 8, 1955, passed away peacefully in his sleep on March 4, 2024 at UVMMC from a brief illness.</p><p><br></p><p>He is survived by the people that mattered most to him: his wife of 45 years, Linda VanOrnum; son Richard and partner Jennifer; grandchildren Ethan and Chelsea; son Daniel; in-laws Eleanor, David and Michele; nephews Jacob and Hunter; dearest friend Kathy Peters; grand-pets Buddy and Scout; several aunts, uncles and cousins.</p><p><br></p><p>Our heartfelt thank you to the staff on Miller 5 for their amazing compassion and care not only for Dean, but for all of his family.</p><p><br></p><p>Services will be held at a later date.</p>Obituary
