William Dale "Bill" Focareta, 74, of Greensburg, passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at Independence Health System, Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. He was born January 25, 1950, in Wilkinsburg, to the late Paul J. and LaVerne (Wilt) Focareta. Bill was a retired development technician for Extrude Hone Corporation, Irwin with over 20 years of service. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three siblings, Paul E. Focareta, Marilyn J. Verzinski, and Robert L. Focareta. Bill is survived by his wife of 54 years, Kathleen (Sherry) Focareta; two daughters, Sherri Lynn Focareta and Marie Lancashire (Aron); two grandchildren, Cameron Michael Pampus, (Dr. Brett Kurpiel) and Catherine Elizabeth Lancashire; two siblings, Wayne Focareta (Judy) and Terry Focareta (Lynette); as well as several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received for a memorial visitation from 10 a.m. to 12 noon Saturday, March 9, 2024, at the Ott Funeral Home, Inc., 805 Pennsylvania Avenue, Irwin, PA 15642 - (724) 863-8900.
