<p>Eloise High Cook, age 93, died on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at Brookdale Assisted Living in Gastonia. Born in Hamilton County Tennessee on May 19, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Edward Lee and Gladys Ethel Ray Spitzer. Eloise was a member of Providence Baptist Church in Gaffney where she was a former teacher of the Sunshine Sunday School Class. She enjoyed gardening, reading, going to the beach and her family. In addition to her parents, Eloise is preceded in death by husband Jack Cook; a sister, Betty Bolick; two sons, Ricky High and Randy High.</p><p><br></p><p>Eloise is survived by a son, Chris High and wife Traci of Gastonia; a daughter, Judy McReynolds and husband Allen of Winston Salem; 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and a great great granddaughter. </p><p><br></p><p>Graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, March 11, 2024 at Frederick Memorial Gardens in Gaffney SC with Rev. Scott Peterson officiating. The family will meet with friends following the service at the graveside. </p><p><br></p><p>In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to : Providence Baptist Church, 822 Providence Road, Gaffney SC 29341</p>
