ROBERT LEE MOSLEY Obituary

Robert Mosley, a life-long resident of Columbus, OH, died on March 1, 2024.

Robert, also affectionately known as “Bobby” was born on May 28, 1964, to Marlene Mosley and Robert Mosley. He was the first of three children, followed by Michael Mosley, and Stephanie Mosley Roeser.

Robert attended Koebel Elementary, Beery Middle, Marion Franklin High School, and graduated from Columbus Alternative High School (CAHS). He attended Franklin University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.

Robert was a long-time employee at Southern Glazer’s of Ohio and was a social butterfly who never met a stranger. He loved hosting parties, entertaining, and sports. His love for the Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Buckeyes ran deep and he loved to tell his friends “Next year will be the year” at the end of every season. He was a great conversationalist and was known for sharing his enthusiasm for business, debates, and intellectual discussions. He loved to make people think and could keep conversations going for hours.

Robert was also passionate about youth and spent time coaching, mentoring, and volunteering with the Panthers, a community basketball team. He was also active in his grandson’s sports team and was always seen in the bleachers during the games with his video recorder in hand. He enjoyed creating unique keepsake videos for the parents and everyone looked forward to viewing his weekly game highlight videos.

More than all of that, however, was his love for his family. He taught his children and grandchildren the importance of hard work, dedication, and persistence. He was proud of their individual accomplishments and loved to collect their college and sports team gear.

Robert is lovingly remembered by four daughters, Tashian, Hannah, Raven, and Brein (Tone); his long-term significant other, Aissa Adams; one brother, Michael Mosley; two sisters, Stephanie Roeser, and Jennifer Neal; two nephews, Aaron and Joshua; one niece, Shiloh; four grandchildren, Ke’Shawn, Kassidy, Kay’Lee, and Toney; one aunt, Inez Spencer; three uncles, Paul Spencer, Bernard Spencer, and William Spencer; and numerous great nieces and nephews. His smile, laughter, and jokes will be missed.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father; two aunts, Gladys Bhuiya and Deborah Wilson; two uncles, Grover Spencer Jr and Lester Spencer.
