<p>East Millinocket - Elaine E. Lyons, 94, wife of the late Ora Lyons, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 5, 2024. She was born July 14, 1929, in Medway, the daughter of Harry and Gertrude (Rabideau) McLaughlin.</p><p>Elaine was a meek lady - she loved Jesus Christ with all her heart and soul, and is remembered as a wonderful and caring mother. She was married to the man of her dreams for 55 years. She saw to her children having everything they needed, and most of what they wanted, while they were growing up. A Mainer through and through, she loved fiddleheads and smelts, and was a great cook. Her family and friends were often recipients of garments that she knitted and crocheted for them. Elaine will be lovingly missed and fondly remembered by those who knew her.</p><p>She is survived by two children, Garold Lyons and Donna Soper and her husband, David; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two brothers, Dean McLaughlin and Gene McLaughlin and his wife, Mary; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents and her husband, Elaine was predeceased by two brothers, Garold and Harry.</p><p>Friends are invited to visit with the family 6-8 p.m. Friday, March 8, 2024, at Lamson Funeral Home, 11 Tamarack Street, Millinocket. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, March 9, at Calvary Temple Assembly of God, 2 Orchard Street, East Millinocket. Spring interment will be at East Millinocket Cemetery.
