Dorothea Annette “Sunshine” Campos, age 66 of Sidney, NE passed away in Sidney on Monday, March 4, 2024.

Dorothea Annette “Sunshine” Campos was born on August 6, 1957 in Sidney, NE to Daniel and Dolores Virgil. She attended Sidney schools until her 10th grade year and graduated from Magnolia High School in Anaheim, CA in 1975.

She was united in marriage to Richardo Jesus Campos on February 10, 1988 in Sidney, NE. Sunshine was a very loving and compassionate, beautiful woman who was always there when you needed her.

She is survived by her husband, Ricardo, mother Dolores Virgil, brother and wife Daniel and Deborah Virgil, sisters Denise Virgil, Jaqueline Virgil, Jeanette and husband Brad Palmore,

daughter Summer Campos, sons Roman Campos, Ricardo Campos Jr., grandchildren Samantha Lanae Rios (25), Carlos Andres Lucero (22), Jakob Anthony Chacon (19), Anissa Grace Bunner (7), great-grandchildren Xavier King Bockhahn (11 months), Harmony Star Chacon (2 months), Genesis Raelynn Bockhahn (1 month), Oliver Lee Lucero (soon to be).
