<p>With heavy hearts and surrounded by his loving family, Henry Berger, Jr. peacefully passed away on March 4, 2024. Henry was the beloved husband of the late Mary Lee (nee Bussard) Berger; devoted father of Henry Berger III and his wife Jennifer, Jeremy Craig Berger, Timothy Paul Berger, Douglas Andrew Berger and his wife Cathy; cherished grandfather of Mason, Hannah, Emilie, Henry, Andrew and Joseph. Henry leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.</p><p><br></p><p>Henry is predeceased by his loving sisters, Gertrude Ann Johach, Mary Elizabeth Berger, Audrey May Brailsford, and Jacqueline Marie Jones. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews who held a special place in his heart.</p><p><br></p><p>Henry was a cherished friend to William Momberger and his late wife Pat and the late William Bauer.</p><p><br></p><p>Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Lassahn Funeral Home, Inc., located at 7401 Belair Road in Overlea, on Sunday, March 10, 2024, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Monday, March 11, 2024, at 1:00 pm. Henry will be laid to rest in the Gardens of Faith Cemetery.</p><p><br></p><p>In honor of Henry's lifelong generosity and commitment to kindness and his dedicated service as a Mason, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to the Shriner’s Hospitals for Children (www.shrinerschildrens.org). May his spirit of generosity continue to shine bright through the lives he touched.</p><p><br></p>
