Virginia "Jenny" A Demorest

<p>Demorest, Virginia "Jenny" Adkins, 65, of Palm Harbor, FL, gained her wings on March 1st, 2024. She passed away peacefully in her home after battling cancer for almost a year. Jenny was born and raised in Jacksonville, Fl.</p><p><br></p><p>She was preceded in death by her father James N Adkins; her stepmom Johnnie Adkins; her mother Opal Adkins; her brothers, Robert (Bobbie) Adkins, James N Adkins, and Tommy Adkins. Jenny is survived by her loving husband of 24 years, Johnny Demorest; her mother in law Jackie Brown; her son who will forever be her little boy, James (JD) Lowe; her daughter Amy Mann; her sister and best friend, Marsha Goodman (Bill), grandchildren Ashley, Katie, Cheyenne, Briana, James III, William(Will), and Toby; several great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, and many other extended family members and friends.</p><p><br></p><p>Jenny was a very resourceful and loving person. She loved her family, pets, and friends very much. She also loved couponing and bingo. She was the bingo queen! Jenny held many positions in life including working for the city of Jacksonville, as a home health aid, and as a preschool teacher. However, being Johnny's wife, JD and Amy's mom, and Marsha's sister was what made her the proudest. She also loved spending time with her grandson who lived with her, James III, and her great-nephew Brody.</p><p><br></p><p>She will forever be remembered for her big bright smile and her even bigger heart. The family will have a Celebration of Life at her home in Palm Harbor at a later date to be determined.</p><p><br></p><p>Love you, love me.</p>
