Adrian L. “Adie” Boyd, 86, of Lurgan, passed away the afternoon of Monday, March 4, 2024 at the Chambersburg Hospital.

He was born on Friday, May 21, 1937 in West Virginia, a son of the late Clifford and Lucy McMullen Boyd. He married Peggy A. Stouffer on September 3, 1960. She preceded him in death on November 28, 2021.

Adie enjoyed working in his garage, bowling, and golfing. Above all else, he loved and cherished his family.

He is survived by three sons, Robert L. (Diane) Boyd of Lurgan, Rick N. Boyd of Newburg, and Eric L. Boyd of Lurgan; eight grandchildren, Ryan C. (Amber) Boyd, Brandon L. Boyd, Scott J. Boyd, Jill N. Caldwell, Amy J. (Curtis) Richie, Jodi (Scott Eckenrode) Boyd, Corey Boyd, and Daysha (Matthew) Coons; 25 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Linda Eyer.

In addition to his parents and spouse, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Gary, Bob, Ray, and Bill Boyd; and one sister, Marie Hancock.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. with Pastor Bruce Levy officiating. Interment will follow in the Parklawns Memorial Gardens. Following interment, a luncheon and time of fellowship will be held at the Lurgan Lions Club. Viewing will be held Monday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service.
