<p>Gregory Edward Geromin, a longtime resident of Center Line, passed away peacefully Monday, March 4, 2024. He was 76 years old.</p><p><br></p><p>Greg was born on June 20, 1947 in Detroit, Michigan to Margaret (nee Wolff) and Edward Geromin. Survived by his loving sister Janice Cangelosi. From Janice: “With tremendous sadness to lose my best friend; I will miss Greg more than words can ever express.” Also survived by his daughter Terese Kobetic and granddaughter Alexis Barry.</p><p><br></p><p>Greg served in the United States Army for two years. He worked for many years for the Detroit News Local 372 as a jumper and truck driver.</p><p><br></p><p>Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 10, 2024 from 2-8pm with a 7pm veteran’s tribute at the Faulmann &amp; Walsh Golden Rule Funeral Home, 32814 Utica Road, Fraser, Michigan 48026. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, March 11, 2024 at 9:30am with instate at 9am at St. Michael Catholic Church, 40501 Hayes Road, Sterling Heights, Michigan 48313. Interment will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly at 1:30pm.</p><p><br></p><p>In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 154 or VFW Post 6756 Cpl.
