<p>Kay Louise Love, age 76, of Shepherd, passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2024 with her family by her side.</p><p><br></p><p>Cremation has taken place at Daisy Hill Crematory. There are no services planned. Memorial contributions may be made to The Mt. Pleasant Salvation Army – Bonnie Bucks Fund. Envelopes will be available at Clark Family Funeral Chapel.</p><p><br></p><p>Kay was born on December 12, 1947, in Mt. Pleasant, the daughter of Roy D. Hafer Jr. and Betty Jane (Warner) Hafer. She married Harry Love on February 14, 1970, in Mt. Pleasant. Kay was a dedicated nurse for 50 years in Isabella County. Her patients always came first. She enjoyed cross-stitching and swimming in her pool. Kay absolutely loved being a farmer’s wife and cherished every moment she was able to spend with her family. Kay was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.</p><p><br></p><p>Kay is survived by her husband, Harry; daughter, Lacey (Dale) Cates; grandson, Casey Lee (Michelle) Love; and sister, Marcy (Richard) Kenny.</p><p><br></p><p>Kay was preceded in death by her parents.</p>
