<p>Services for Stephanie Toney, 48, of Athens are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Thursday, March 7, 2024, at the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home of Athens with Pastor Grant Sisson officiating. Interment will follow at Zion Hill Cemetery in Van Zandt County.</p><p><br></p><p>Stephanie passed away in the presence of her loving family on March 3, 2024, in Athens. </p><p><br></p><p>Stephanie Irene Toney was born January 7, 1976, in Athens the daughter of Donald Wayne Toney and Barbara Ann (Hall) Toney. She graduated Trinidad High School in 1995, attended Trinity Valley Community College and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church for many years. She enjoyed spending time outside enjoying the fresh air, but her true joy was found in spending time with friends and especially her family. Stephanie was a loving mother, sister, daughter, and aunt who will be forever missed. </p><p><br></p><p>She was preceded in death by her father Donald Wayne Toney and her nephew Joseph Huff.</p><p><br></p><p>She is survived by her three sons, Joshua Gray, Braydon Pierce, Bradley Pierce all of Athens; mother Barbara Toney of Athens; siblings, Michelle Toney, Debra Baker, Thomas Toney and wife Susan all of Athens; nieces and nephews, Gabrielle Loden and partner Nick Pfoh, Kaylee Toney, Joe Nix, Shelby and Ricky DeVille, Cody Baker, Chelsea Baker, Jonathon Toney, Justin Toney and wife Samantha, and great nieces and nephews, Chloe Dunn, Axton DeVille, Leighton Pryor, Paisley Pryor, Benjamin Pryor, Hazel Anstine and Jaxston Toney. </p><p><br></p><p>A visitation will be held Wednesday, March 6, 2024, for 6-8:00 p.m., at the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home.</p><p><br></p><p>Braydon Pierce, Bradley Pierce, Joshua Gray, Joe Nix, Cody Baker, Justin Toney and Jonathon Toney will serve as pallbearers. The honorary pallbearers will be the nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. </p><p><br></p><p>Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home family.</p>
