Elizabeth June Yoho

<p>Elizabeth June Yoho, 86, went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 27, 2024, at Maplewood Health Care Center, Bridgeport, WV. She was born May 31, 1937, in Gauley Bridge, WV to the late Dewey E. and Neola E. Montgomery Kidd.</p><p><br></p><p>She is survived by her two daughters, Teresa (David) Williamson of Kill Devil Hills, NC and Lisa Teufel (Russell Cooke) of Nutter Fort, WV; and two granddaughters, Brenna Williamson and Breonna Teufel, both of Kill Devil Hills, NC.</p><p><br></p><p>After a 20-year career, she retired from Quaker State Corporation as a Senior Sales Representative. She was honored to be the first woman Senior Sales Representative for the company in the United States. She was a Baptist by faith and a long-time member of Al-Anon. Her total devotion to her daughters and granddaughters was unwavering. She taught through a lifetime of examples: extreme strength in adversity, self-reliance, compassion and hope. Her deep love of God and others touched all who knew her.</p><p><br></p><p>In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Kidd Sr; her sisters; Dreama Gale Altman, Regina Massey, and Beverly Shockey; and a beloved friend, Carney King, Jr.</p><p><br></p><p>She was also blessed to be instantly taken in, as one of their own, to the large extended Williamson family, the community and the Methodist Church, all of Sardis, OH. She immediately gained many extra brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and friends whom she loved dearly. Her physical presence and spirituality will be greatly missed by all who loved her.</p><p><br></p><p>Interment will be at Highlawn Cemetery, Oak Hill, WV. A celebration of life will occur at a later date.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p>
