Jason Paul Sherwood, age 43, of Bishopville, MD died Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at home. He was born in Milford, DE. and was the son of Paul Sherwood and Debra (Hudson) Sherwood.

Jason had worked as a sous chef for Longboard Cafe in Ocean City.

In addition to his parents he is survived by a sister, Kimberly Sherwood; his dog, Kyle; special friends, Cindy Hess and her dog Dixee and Sue Toomey; aunts and uncles, Robert Hudson (Carolyn) of Millsboro, DE, Thomas Hudson (Marie) of Seaford, DE, William Hudson (Anne) of Laurel, DE, Janet Dirks of Longneck, DE, Sharon Wasson (Chris) of Longneck, DE, Richard Sherwood (Carol) of Milford, DE, Marion Marvel (Jim) of Milford, DE, David Sherwood (Jennifer) of Bryant, OH, and Debbie Souder (Dave) of Smyrna, DE. He was also survived by several aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Catherine Brewington, Ed Brewington, Robert S. Hudson, Rev. Paul and Marion Sherwood; great grandparents, Tony and Margaret Racaniello and Rev. Jason and Esther Sherwood and an uncle, Jack Dirks.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, March 8, 2024 at Back Creek Fellowship Church, 11707 Back Creek Road, Bishopville, MD 21813. Friends may call one hour before the service.
