Betty Jane Johnson, 93, of Winchester. VA passed away Sunday, March 3, 2024 at her home.

Betty was born March 2, 1931 in Winchester a daughter of the late George Melvin Miller and Annie Edmond Miller. She married Elmer Johnson June 10, 1950; and he preceded her in death October 19, 1991.

She is survived by her grandsons, Donald David Johnson (Shelly) and Darren Elmer Johnson; one great granddaughter, Casey Johnson; and daughter in law, Carolyn Johnson.

Along with her parents and husband, Betty was preceded in death by her son, Donald D. "Dave" Johnson; sisters, Kathleen Boone, Mary Musser, Dorothy Stoehr, Shirley Berg, Marie White, Martha Grim, Bonnie Miller; and brother, George “Sonney” Miller.

The family will receive friends Monday, March 11, 2024 at Jones Funeral Home in Winchester from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A graveside service will take place at Shenandoah Memorial Park Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at 2:00 pm with preacher Mike Dean officiating.
