<p>Mrs. Bertha Ann Wells, age 83 of Talking Rock, GA, passed away on Saturday, March 2nd, 2024 at her residence.</p><p>Mrs. Wells was born on April 26th, 1940 in Elkhorn City, Kentucky to the late William Frank Anders and the late Virgie Leigh Blottia Anders. She was of the Baptist Faith. Bertha loved to go to the senior center, loved to fish, and loved to travel, especially to the beach. </p><p>In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wells is preceded in death by her loving husband, Frazier D. Wells; son and daughter-in-law, Walter (Connie) Wells; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Patty (Lester) Boyd and Linda (Paul Jr.) Ball, and brother, Johnnie Franklin Anders.</p><p>Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Teresa (Mitchell) Stanley; son and daughter-in-law, Melvin (Ronaka) Wells; two brothers, William Frank Anders, Jr., and Robert Alan (Dena) Anders; 4 grandchildren, Jeremy Wells, Joshua Wells, Jonah (Amanda) Wells, Rebekah (Tim) Allison, and 4 great-grandchildren, Emily Wells, Tyler Allison, Triniti Allison, and Knox Wells also survive.</p><p>The family will receive friends at the Bernhardt Funeral Home in Ellijay, GA on Monday, March 4th, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.</p><p>Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday, March 7, 2024 in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker, Virginia. Interment will follow in the Richardson Cemetery at Swords Creek, VA.</p><p>Relatives and friends will serve as pallbearers.</p><p>The family will receive friends at the Honaker Funeral Home after 6 PM Wednesday.</p><p><br></p>
