Pat Scanlon

Patrick Terrance Scanlon, Jr., known as Pat, passed away on February 28, 2024, in Mercedes, TX at the

young age of 52. Born February 2, 1972, Groundhog’s Day, he is the much-loved son of Lydia M. Drexler

(Scanlon) and stepfather Mark J. Drexler. Patrick is preceded in death by his father Patrick T. Scanlon, Sr. 

He is survived by his daughter Alexis L. Klasen and her husband Jordan S. Klasen. Grandmother Donna M. Mosher, Auntie Laurie A. LaBelle, Auntie Ann M. Scanlon, Uncle and Aunt Brian P. and Mary C. Scanlon, Uncle and Aunt Dick G. and Kathy A. Huber, Aunt Lenore C. Weiss, close friend and roommate Judie A. Wing, four-legged best friend Karma, many cousins and friends. Pat

enjoyed laughter and making others laugh, he was kind and believed in family and family traditions.

Later in life he struggled with many health problems, and it is comforting to know he is now in heaven

and all the suffering has now ended. A celebration of life will be held on March 9th, at Oakwood Celebrate Life,
